Oklahoma #1 again?

Post Oklahoma #1 again?
My team, the Sooners, was #1 for two weeks straight until they lost to Texas, who is looking strong. I read today that Texas would have to lose twice (and, of course, Oklahoma would have to not lose anymore) in order for OU to get the top spot in the Big 12 South and play for the championship. I wonder how true that is. If the two teams' records end up the same, with one loss each, the ranking will have to be based on strength of schedule, which will be very similar for each team. If that happens, which team will be on top? Which will play in the championship?

So Texas did lose, to Texas Tech, over a week ago. Then the Red Raiders went on to beat an unusually good Oklahoma State team. Now they're facing the OU Sooners. I'm happy to see such an exciting year for the Big 12 South, and I'm excited for Texas Tech, and yes, even for Texas and OSU. But, naturally, I put the Sooners first, and the Raiders stand in the way of the Big 12 Championship. Will the undefeated Raiders be able to handle the Sooners' lightning-fast offense?

We have to keep in mind that the Sooners' one loss was to Texas, in a game in which both teams played with all they had. And then the Longhorns lost to Tech, in another game in which both teams played their hearts out. Putting it to Logic, then, one would have to assume that the Raiders have the edge over the Sooners. But these things don't tend to follow Logic. There are many complicating factors. One that particularly stands out is that the Sooners' offense is better than the Longhorns'. And Texas's victory over the Sooners did not come easily at all.

The Raiders' defense hasn't faced an offense like OU's this year. Could Oklahoma hand Texas Tech their first loss of the season? This Big 12 fan certainly hopes so.
